STUDY INDICATES DOGS BOND WITH HUMANS MUCH LIKE HUMAN CHILDREN - "One of the things that really surprised us is that adult dogs behave towards their caregivers like human children do. It will be really interesting to try to find out how this behavior evolved in the dogs…"
According to a study led by Lisa Horn at the Vetmeduni’s Messerli Research Institute in Austria, dogs bond with their owners much like human children bond with their parents. The study is entitled “The importance of the Secure Base Effect for Domestic Dogs” and you can click here to read the full report. Read more from king5.com:

A new study finds that dogs attach to their humans similar to the way young children attach to their parents.Human infants use their caregivers as a secure base when it comes to interacting with the environment and scientists say until recently the “secure base effect” had not been well examined in dogs. Lisa Horn, from the Vetmeduni’s Messerli Research Institute in Austria, decided to take a closer look at the behavior of dogs and their owners. She examined the dogs’ reactions under three different conditions: “absent owner.” “silent owner” and “encouraging owner.” The dogs could earn a food reward by manipulating interactive dog toys. Researchers were surprised that the dogs seemed much less keen on working for food when their caregivers were not there than when they were. Whether an owner additionally encouraged the dog during the task or remained silent had little influence on the animal’s level of motivation.

Dog owners already know that dogs are like our kids and they often act as such. Click here for the full story.

So dogs are like kids… except cute :P

Because telling fat people that they are in fact humans that deserve dignity and respect automatically means you’re ~*GLORIFYING OBESITY*~

By the way, don’t dribble on to me saying you worry about a fat person’s ‘health’. That’s just a bullshit excuse to voice your unwanted opinion on a fat person’s body considering you wouldn’t give a single flying fuckadoodle about someone’s health if they were skinny. Besides another person’s health is none of your damned business anyway. Run along now and preach to a choir that actually cares.

I’m going to be honest, so long as you’re not hurting anyone, you can eat soy sauce and milk duds all day long for all I care.
